How do I write in bold text on Instagram?
Instagram has no bold button. Type your text in the editor, select the words, click Bold, then press Copy all and paste it into your caption, bio or comments.
How do I get italic text on Instagram?
The same way: select the text, choose Italic, copy and paste. It works in captions, comments, your bio and even your name.
Does the fancy text work on X (Twitter)?
Yes. Bold, italic and most styles show up in tweets, replies and in your X name and bio.
Does it work on Facebook and LinkedIn?
Yes. On LinkedIn it's great for making posts and headlines pop; on Facebook it works in posts, comments and your bio.
Does it work on TikTok, WhatsApp, Discord and Telegram?
Yes. These are standard Unicode characters, so they work in TikTok bios and captions, WhatsApp messages, Discord and Telegram.
Is this a real font, or Unicode?
It's not a font you install. It swaps normal letters for Unicode characters that already look bold, italic or script, so the styling travels with the text wherever you paste it.
Can I make the text bigger or smaller?
Not in point size β every app uses a fixed size. The closest to bigger is the Wide (fullwidth) style; for smaller there are superscript and subscript.
Why do some characters show as boxes (β―) or question marks?
That means the app or device is missing the glyph for that style. Modern phones render them fine; very old devices may not. Bold and italic have the widest support.
Will fancy fonts hurt my reach or SEO?
Use them for accents β a title, your name, one keyword β not whole paragraphs. Search and hashtags read the underlying characters, so don't convert important keywords or hashtags.
Is it bad for accessibility?
It can be. Screen readers may read styled Unicode oddly or skip it, so use it sparingly and never for essential information a blind user needs.
Can I use these fonts in my username or display name?
